Gainesville is home to many things.. one being the Florida Gators, another being The Swamp aka Ben Hill Griffin Stadium and lastly and possibly most importantly, The Swamp Restaurant. The Swamp Restaurant has been a trademark to the Gators and food lover around since 1994. The built in 1914 and was owned by a professor until it was nearly destroyed in a fire. Since then, the building underwent a massive renovation and turned into what we know as The Swamp Restaurant today! At The Swamp Restaurant you can order your classic dishes like chicken fingers and salads along with their hand crafter cocktails and happy hour deals. Located right off of University Ave. you'll find yourself in the heart of the University and right across from Ben Hill. If that's not enough, The Swamp Restaurant always is sure to have the latest sporting events and games to keep you entertained while you're enjoying your time in the sunny city of Gainesville!
