Introduction

Hello! My name is Lauren and I reside in the small town of Gainesville, Florida. Not only is Gainesville home to the Florida Gators but it also has countless of restaurants for students to indulge at. In Gainesville, not only are you surrounded by great people but you're also surrounded by GREAT FOOD!

I am a senior at the University of Florida, studying Telecommunications. I hope to work in sports journalism and be able to produce games and events that are shown on national television. I was born and raised in Orlando, FL and have been bleeding orange and blue for as long as I can remember! Sports are my passion and what's even better than sports? Sports with food! I'll be taking you through Gainesville to prove that there is more to this small town than what meets the eye. So sit back, grab a snack and enjoy!

Miracle on University!

Madrina's, a cocktail bar located in downtown Gainesville has decided to amp up the holiday spirit by changing their traditional bar into a Christmas-themed wonderland called Miracle on University. Not only can you enjoy Madrina's classic cocktails that are offered year-round, but you can also sip on some of your holiday favorites!
