The Glory of Chain Restaurants

Chain restaurants are always a go-to for myself and many of my friends and family. They are reliable, consistent and just somewhere you can resort to when you don't know what to eat and for these reasons I am a BIG fan of them. One in particular that I recommend is a restaurant called Metro Diner. Metro Diner originated in Jacksonville, Florida and you can find locations across the country. One thing that I love about Metro Diner is the selection of food. Whether you're in the mood for a plate of chicken and waffles or a hot serving of meatloaf, Metro Diner has you covered!

Metro Diner was also featured on Diner's, Drive-Ins and Dives, a show hosted by the Guy Fieri on the Food Network. The Diner has also won a number of awards like the one from the Gainesville Sun as the Best Diner in 2016 & 2017 and being called the #1 Breakfast & #1 Diner by the Void Magazine. You also don't have to worry about breaking the bank at this restaurant and can have an amazing meal all within an affordable budget. My overall consensus of Metro Diner is a 10/10; highly recommend!

Miracle on University!

Madrina's, a cocktail bar located in downtown Gainesville has decided to amp up the holiday spirit by changing their traditional bar into a Christmas-themed wonderland called Miracle on University. Not only can you enjoy Madrina's classic cocktails that are offered year-round, but you can also sip on some of your holiday favorites! The bar will be decked out in everything Christmas from the lights to the mugs for the month of December. Be sure to make your way downtown to spread some Christmas cheer at Miracle on University!
