If you're in the Orlando area, be sure to make your way to Southern Hill Farms in Clermont, Florida! Enjoy live music, hayrides, bounce houses and a glass of locally brewed beer or wine this Saturday and Sunday (10/27 - 10/28) from 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM. For the month of October, Bauer-BQ will be serving hot, fresh food to Southern Hill Farms visitors and pumpkin pickers! Bauer-BQ is a family-run restaurant that delivers the best barbecue in town.

Southern Hill Farms is a family owned and operated u-pick farm that offers commercially harvested blueberries and for the month of October, pumpkins! The farm has picked only the best variety of pumpkins for you to choose from. Not only do they offer an abundance of pumpkins for you to choose from but they also take very good care of these pumpkins to keep them in pristine condition. I sat down with one of the SHF owners just to find out exactly how they keep these pumpkins picture-perfect. 


You can visit the Southern Hills pumpkin Patch any weekend in October from 11:00 AM - 8 PM. Be sure to get their early because this event has been proven to be a success in the past and there is a possibility that the farm will reach capacity. Happy picking!

Madrina's, a cocktail bar located in downtown Gainesville has decided to amp up the holiday spirit by changing their traditional bar into a Christmas-themed wonderland called Miracle on University. Not only can you enjoy Madrina's classic cocktails that are offered year-round, but you can also sip on some of your holiday favorites!
